Re: Koko Children’s Village Project
Dear Partners in Christ:
We greet you wholeheartedly in Jesus’ precious name.
After many months of our joint prayers for commencement of the Koko Children’s Village (Orphanage) Project, the Lord is answering our prayers. Our vision for this Orphanage is to host 1,000 children in Liberia, West Africa. We are pleased to inform you that Phase One of the Project will start during the second week of August 2006.
We thank the Sanibel Community Church (on Sanibel Island, Florida) for making a generous financial donation of $ 8,745.00 toward this worthy Project. This Church has been supporting AICM since 1999. Words are inadequate in praising the Lord for the generosity of the officers and members of the Church for helping us to start the first dormitory for these children. May the Lord, who gives seed to the sower (II Corinthians 9:10), continue to bless the Sanibel Community Church, and all our partners!
As shown below, the Project will be done in three phases. The first phase of the project will cost about $ 25.000. We call it in right now! In Jesus Name; Amen!
1. Phase One – A Storage Unit to be built to keep building materials with one room attached for the securities, one big dormitory to accommodate many children until the second and third buildings are constructed.
2. Phase Two – Christian School – from nursery to High School and a house for the village mothers. Until then the mothers will have temporary place with the children. Presently we are leasing a one-story building for the school and have added five more classes due to the influx of students.
3. Phase Three – Administrative Office plus second and third dormitories.
Please continue to pray for us that the Lord will speak to willing hearts to help us meet the remaining financial need. We know the Lord is already speaking to hearts, so expect a courtesy call from us soon to solicit your generous contribution toward this worthy endeavor. We believe through your prayers these lovely children will have a new home soon. Thanks ever so much for standing in the gap with us!
